No… I don’t endorse this.  I’m not a coward.  I won’t walk in fear and I suggest you don’t either…

Needless to say, The Horror Syndicate does not endorse these creepy Clowns and the possibility of “purging” on “Devil’s Night”, October 30th.

Crazy times we live in in recent times there have been sightings across the United States of crey clowns, lurking around.  People are going from freaked out to it’s just a practical joke and some are reaching for their weapon of choice.  Mostly some sort of firearm.

Since late August, the trend of trying to scare unsuspecting people is becoming too common.  These creepy clowns lurking in woods, appearing on dark roads or even driving around in cars.  Some of these clowns are armed themselves.

The sightings have left people wondering, feeling nervous and even scared.  Honestly, upon hearing about this, I have been looking around my neighborhood, my town…with nothing to report.

The sightings have been reported in states from California and Minnesota to South Carolina, New Jersey and New York and have generated the hashtag #IfISeeAClown and @ClownSightings on Twitter, which has 340,000 followers.  As reported from Rueters.com.

Devil’s Night is coming and an event like this could ruin Halloween for millions. Not to mention clowns, they used to bring joy to so many.  But there are some with the fear and we have horror movies with clowns as the antagonist, It, Killer Clowns from Outer Space, Killjoy and others.  American Horror Story: Freakshow featured a killer clown.

This event…probably will not happen, but keep it in the back of your mind.  Not only on October 30th…Halloween as well.

Stay safe out there, don’t get hurt or hurt anyone in fear.

This world is crazy enough, we don’t need Killer Clowns.

We want to hear from you!  How do you feel about these possible “Killer Clowns”?

What would you do if you encountered a clown coming at you?

I have been watching horror films since I was 6 years old. The story, one Saturday night, my mom and I were watching movies and she fell asleep on the couch. We had the channel set on HBO and the movie we were watching ended and the next one, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge. This was some time in 1986. I watched then entire film, I was sitting on the edge of my seat. When my mom woke, she asked me what just ended and I told her, “Freddy”. That was all I talked about for weeks and finally she broke down and rented more horror films for me. She rented, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre part 2, Re-Animator, Friday the 13th VI: Jason Lives and Halloween II.
