It appears that famed director Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Death Proof) has officially cast the role of Charles Manson in his upcoming flick Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. It is being reported that the role will go to Damon Herriman.
Herriman (perhaps best known as Dewey Crowe from the hit show Justified), will portray the infamous and enigmatic Charles Milles Manson, alongside the wonderfully talented Margot Robbie (who will be playing murder victim Sharon Tate). It was also announced that Polish actor Rafal Zawierucha will be playing director Roman Polanski, Tate’s husband.

The film’s seemingly never ending list of appearing stars also includes the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, and Burt Reynolds.
Plot summary:
The Tarantino pic has been referred to as a Pulp Fiction-like tapestry of stories set in L.A. in the summer of 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor: Tate (Robbie).
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is due to hit theaters on July 26, 2019!
