After a while of talk, a few pictures, and some fake trailers, the world finally has the real trailer for the new Leatherface movie. Starring The Conjuring’s Lili Taylor, and from the directors of Inside, the trailer doesn’t show much in terms of plot, but it does give you a very creepy, and bloody peek into the film.
IMDB’s synopsis of the film is as follows.
Prequel about teenage Leatherface who escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates, kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface.
Leatherface will be released on VOD, and start it’s limited run in theaters on October 20.

My favorite horror movie is Scream, which is highly ironic considering I was deathly afraid of Ghostface, who I had very vivid nightmares about that I still remember perfectly, as a child. Some of my other favorites are Hereditary, A Nightmare On Elm Street, Beetlejuice, The Shining, The Conjuring, and much more! My passion project for the site is our digital zine, called Fright Like A Girl that's all about women in horror, made by women who love horror!
In my free time, besides writing for the site, and working on my dream of becoming an actress and film maker, I enjoy making youtube videos (MJ Sawan on youtube), playing video games, going to conventions like Texas Frightmare, and Horror Hound, and cosplaying!
