The Horror Jew Review: Mom and Dad

I just finished the new movie Mom and Dad starring Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair and holy shit, it’s exactly what I wanted it to be!
Nicolas Cage (Brent Ryan) and Selma Blair( Kendall Ryan) star as a once rebel teens now turned into a cookie cut suburban family with a teenage daughter and a preteen son living a normal life with visions of the past when they were young and free. Like any normal suburban family, the oldest daughter Carly,is a teen rebel while their youngest son, Josh has a strong bond with his father. It’s a normal day in the neighborhood until a mysterious virus turns all of the parents into vicious killers where no child is left behind!

Without spoiling what happens I will say this much: Mom and Dad is perfect blend of George A Romero’s The Crazies meets Vampire’s Kiss on flakka! Mom and Dad doesn’t hold back at all…. AT ALL! Nicolas Cage shines as he brings back classic Cage in this fully chaotic movie where no one is safe. You need to see Mom and Dad as soon as you can. This is the best Nicolas Cage movie I have seen in years and I’m extremely satisfied that he hasn’t changed!

10/10***
