10 Horror Films from 2022 to Watch on Shudder

Shudder has so many great movies on its streaming service. You’ll find classic horror films we’ve all seen many times, Italian gore and giallo films, but there are more. Over the last few years Shudder has become a place for new horror movies to premiere as Shudder originals and this helps them to not get lost in the shuffle. At the same time, many don’t get seen by the masses because not everyone has a Shudder account. Hopefully that changes for anyone reading this.

Between horror film originals and shows like 101 Scariest Movie Moments of All-time, which you should 100% check out, Shudder has it all. It’s streaming service isn’t expensive and you can see some of it on Amazon Prime or download the app to your Roku or Fire stick.

This article or list will highlight some of the movies you likely haven’t seen or won’t see. 2021 had a bunch of great movies on premiere on Shudder and 2022 has been no different. I have not seen them all, but between myself, Jared Letourneau, Seth T. Miller and Nathan Thomas Milliner, we’ve seen a bunch of them. I do believe some will end up on our Top 25 of 2022 list when we do that episode in December.

So let’s do this!

Who Invited Them

Adam and Margo’s housewarming party goes well enough… except there’s this one mysterious couple (Tom and Sasha) lingering after the other guests have left. The cool couple reveals themselves to be their wealthy neighbors but as one nightcap leads to another, Adam and Margo start to suspect their new friends are actually duplicitous strangers with a dark secret.

There are so many more films on Shudder.  Especially from the last few years.  I think most have not heard of, most of these movies.  That’s why we are here.  I have personally seen all of these but 2.  By the end of the year we will do a Top 10 Horror on Shudder 2022 list along with our Top 25 of 2022.  This has been a good and very busy year for horror.  Enjoy!

Don’t forget Shudder’s 101 Scariest Movie Moments of All Time is now streaming, with new episodes every Wednesday.
