Top 10 Horror Films of 2019

I personally think we are in the middle of a horror resurgence in many ways, possibly even new renaissance of horror.  There have been others, like from about 1973 to 1988 or 1931 to 1944.  This one begins, perhaps in 2008 or 2009 and is now picking up steam.  Based on the past we’re looking at another four or five years before this ends and we end up with the second coming of the 1950s horror or the 1990s in to the 2000s.  Not to say in the small stretches we didn’t have great movies, even great years.  But look in to this, 1945-1971 have scattered movies, Rosemary’s Baby, Psycho, Night of the Living Dead, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the Hammer movies and a bunch more.  Some thing between 1988-2007.  There are good movies, but not as many as we’ve seen  in this last stretch.   This is just a great time to be a horror fan.

So, let’s get down to the list.  To be fair, I am going based on IMDB.com scores.  I have my own list which will probably differ from the overall fan scores, which sometimes are pretty damned fair.  So we will see what the Top 10 Horror movies of 2019 really are?  I have my personal which will be listed below, maybe.
