It is hard keeping a secret. Vince DiSanti and I have chatted a bunch since the first time he joined us on THS Lives back in 2018. Never Hike Alone is the gold standard for all Friday the 13th fan films and it has been a welcome installment in the Friday the 13th mythos. So many have seen the film and loved it and wanted more. Well, over the last couple of weeks Womp Stomp has been teasing “9/13”. I ran in to Vince at HorrorHound Weekend last week and he was kind of enough to show the Never Hike Alone music video “Disappear”. It was awesome, now everyone else gets to see it, along with all of the announcements that have dropped as well.
First, we get the awesome music video/teaser for Never Hike Alone. Second we get the title announcement for the prequel to Never Hike Alone, “Never Hike in the Snow”. Which we are getting something, I and Vince himself have always wanted to see, Jason in the snow. But even more, Womp Stomp is running an Indiegogo campaign that could lead to the entire saga for Never Hike Alone. The goal for Never Hike in the Snow is $50k, but stretch goals lead to the rest of the series.
With all of the fan films hitting this year, Never Hike Alone is a wonderful fan film, that adds to the series and should make others connected proud. There has been a hunger for a new Friday the 13th film, it has been 10 years now, until this ever happens…we have Never Hike Alone. Reason enough to get this thing funded, so we can have more!

Overview
Womp Stomp Films returns with NEVER HIKE IN THE SNOW, a 20 minute prequel set 3 months prior to the events of Never Hike Alone that answers horror fans long standing request to see Jason Voorhees in a Winter setting.The first of four new entries to the Never Hike Alone web series, Never Hike in the Snow will feature the return of Friday the 13th alumni Thom Mathews in the role of Tommy Jarvis as well as introduce Vinny Guastaferro (Jason Lives) as Sheriff Rick Cologne and Douglas Tait(Freddy vs Jason) as Ghost Jason.
After receiving several fan requests to continue the series, our team went back to the drawing board and researched the various ways we could complete the story. As the cost of completing a feature film started to add up, we eventually decided to break the story up into 20-35 minute webisodes in order to control our fundraising and production costs.
Never Hike in the Snow is the first of four new entires that will complete “The Never Hike Alone Web Series” and bring the story of Kyle Mcleod, Tommy Jarvis, Rick Cologne, and Jason Voorhees to an epic final conclusion.
GOAL
Our goal for this campaign is to raise $50,000 in order to fund the overall production cost of Never Hike in the Snow and begin pre-production on Never Hike Alone II: Never Hike Again.
Funds designated for production will go towards film permits, insurance, gear and vehicle rentals, stunts, special FX & make up, post-production services and other items that are essential in running a safe and productive film set.
