The Volumes of Blood Horror Stories, is a love letter to classic slasher films such as Black Christmas, Halloween,Friday the 13th, Don’t look in the basement, and Tales From the Darkside. Produced by P.J. Starks (Volumes of Blood) directed by Sean Blevins (Trick or Treat) John William Holt ( Feeding Time) John Maynard(Blood Bath) Nathan Thomas Milliner(Murder Death Killer, Fear for Sinners Here) Justin M Seaman(The Deathday Party) James Treakle (Killer House). Each individual movie piggybacks off of each other into making one long two hour Gore Fest.
From the Gore to fantastic dialogue, is blast and definitely worthy of being a throwback to the cheesy Slashers we grew up to love. You can see the inspiration of classic directors such as Wes Craven, Herschel Gordon Lewis, and George Romero. Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories is for anyone who is a fan of the horror genre (modern and classic) and will not disappoint.
The movie starts out with the first segment murder death killer when what begins as a couple working in a warehouse to unfold the story of Atticus Crow a killer. Atticus Crow that hunts down the two inside the warehouse in pure bloody carnage only to reveal that Murder Death Killer is a movie in a theater. 
During the movie, Nate And Kev (who are hardcore horror fans trolling the movie) are asked to leave the movie for being loud and abrupt. After pissing off the usher and leaving the theater, Nate and Kev go back to Nate’s house where Nate decides to show Kev “a true horror movie” which begins our anthology of the Horror Stories. The stories being and puzzle piece a larger plot through each segment. 
The blood doesn’t hold back and neither do the laughs as the killers slice and dice through their victims in realistic body dismemberment. What worked really well for Volumes of Blood:Horror Stories was the pace connecting each and individual story to each other in good old Tales From The Darkside fashion.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, I loved Blood Bath ( Directed by Jon Maynard). I’m the kind of guy who used to search through mom and pop video stores back in my childhood days. I found Troma, Russ Meyer and especially Roger Corman’s Women in Prison flicks to be the most entertaining, especially as a kid. The acting in Blood Bath held a special place in my heart and really stuck out, yes Blood Bath, that is a GOOD THING!
Every story was packed with a punch and just kept going with the mass murdering. Volumes Of Blood Horror Stories deserves to be in any true horror fan’s DVD collection and should be watched with a group of drunk friends or by yourself Every story was packed with a punch and just kept going with the mass murdering.
